Paul Cooney
Paul has more than 45 years’ experience in the debt collection and receivables management industry. Paul was previously the primary driver in the establishment of the first Publicly Listed company in the sector in 2000. That company as Australia’s first publicly listed receivables management company, had over 700 staff and a turnover of more than $70 million. Paul was personally responsible for the negotiation and management of the acquisition and integration of 22 businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Paul was also the Managing Director of a National Law Firm which had twenty-seven lawyers across multiple Australian offices.
A fellow and former councillor of the Australian Institute of Credit Management and a foundation President of the National Society of Commercial Agents, now the Australian Collectors Association, Paul has, and continues to make an outstanding contribution to the development of the debt collection and receivables management sector.
