Dylan Trickey is the Principal Lawyer & Director of LawyersAU. Dylan has over 13 years’ experience working with both small practices and large national firms, advising commercial and local government clients. Dylan’s expertise spans commercial litigation, insolvency, debt recovery and property law.
Dylan is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia, and has conducted matters in the Magistrates, County, Supreme and Federal Courts. Along with Victoria, Dylan has direct experience running and appearing in matters across multiple jurisdictions including New South Wales, Queensland, ACT, South Australia, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Over the course of his career, Dylan has represented a wide spectrum of clients ranging from small and medium enterprises through to large national corporations. More recently, he built a strong practice working with local government authorities throughout Victoria, providing advice on compliance with new legislative requirements and managing commercial and statutory charge recoveries.
Dylan is known for his practical approach to resolving disputes quickly and cost-effectively, placing strong emphasis on building collaborative client relationships and fostering a collegiate culture within the firm, ensuring that outcomes are not only legally sound but also commercially sensible.
